Taya Misheva
Ph.D. student in Biology and Society
Research Interests: My research focuses on evolution education. I'm particularly interested in student acceptance of evolution and the teaching of human evolution and biological anthropology.
About Me: I was born in Ukraine and grew up in Chicago, IL, where I received my B.A. in Anthropology from Northwestern University. I then came to Arizona State University, where I received an M.A. in Evolutionary Anthropology and am currently working on a certificate in Scientific Teaching in Higher Education. I spend my free time cross-stitching, inventing sci-fi worlds, snuggling my cat Smaug, and getting glared at by my girlfriend’s cat, Shaman.
