About me: I am currently a senior at Barrett, The Honors College at ASU and will graduate with a degree in Biology in May 2015. I grew up in Phoenix, AZ and have lived in the Valley all my life. I am very interested in studying the impact of bridge programs as well as sociocultural backgrounds on student success. I am currently working in a thesis project with Dr. Brownell and Dr. Orchinik. I am a member of the Men's Basketball team at Arizona State and plan on attending medical school after I graduate.
Project completed as an honors student in the lab: Under the guidance of Erin Shortlidge, conducted an evaluation of a summer bridge program on student self-efficacy, performance in introductory biology, and attitudes towards biology.
