New lab publication: A Cultural Evolutionary Model of Pedagogy in Higher Education

We are happy to announce a new lab publication: The Lecture Machine: A Cultural Evolutionary Model of Pedagogy in Higher Education. Published in CBE Life Sciences Education, this essay presents a model of cultural evolution applied to how college instructors teach. Specifically, it focuses on how cultural transmission processes and selection events at different career phases shape not only who teaches in higher education, but also how they choose to teach.
