Sara and Katey head to London for the International Learning Sciences Conference, which is a part of the Festival of Learning, to present their collaborative work with Micki Chi on the impact on students when they watched a video with only an instructor or an instructor tutoring a student. This work represents an attempt to replicate cognitive science research in the context of an authentic large-enrollment science classroom- and we found that the previous studies did not replicate. This work has been published in the journal CBE Life Sciences Education.
