We are happy to announce a new publication from the lab: Who perceives they are smarter? Exploring the influence of student characteristics on student academic self-concept in physiology. Published in the journal Advances in Physiology Education, we found gender differences in academic self-concept- or how smart someone perceived themselves in relation to other students in the class and this seems to affect student self-reported participation in the class.
Congrats to Katey Cooper and Anna Krieg on their publication!
