We are happy to announce a new publication out of the lab entitled "Can Six Minutes of Culturally Competent Evolution Education Reduce Students' Level of Perceived Conflict Between Evolution and Religion?" Published in the journal American Biology Teacher, this research is the extension of a previous study conducted in the lab. In this new study, we tried to condense the culturally competent instruction down to only 6 minutes - which is more along the lines of what most instructors may be willing to try - and found that it does have an impact on religious students in the class!
Congrats to co-first authors Jasmine Truong and Liz Barnes for their publication!
