ASU hosts a Learning Innovation Showcase each year, sponsored by the Institute of Science Teaching and Learning (ISTL), where folks who have developed cool new teaching tools and strategies and education researchers can show off what they have done.
Anna presented a poster on the importance of an instructor using student names in a high-enrollment course. Jasmine presented a poster on the experiences of religious students in biology classes. Michael presented a poster on the impact of a summer bridge program on student development of social and cultural capital. Liz presented a poster on a module that reduces student perceived conflict between religion and evolution by 50%. Congrats to the presenters!
