Katey was part of the Evidence-based Education mini-symposium at the national American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) meeting where she presented a talk on the impact of a summer bridge program on student conceptions and attitudes about active learning. This work will be published in an upcoming issue of CBE Life Sciences Education, so stay tuned!
Katey also presented a poster about the importance of instructors in high-enrollment biology classes using student names and Sara presented a poster about the experiences of LGBTQIA students in active learning.
