We are happy to announce a new lab publication in the journal CBE Life Sciences Education. Headed up by graduate student Liz Barnes, we conducted an interview study examining the practices and beliefs of instructors who teach evolution at public institutions of higher education in Arizona. Strikingly, we found that the majority of instructors did NOT think that it was their job to teach acceptance of evolution and their own personal beliefs played a major role in their instructional practices.
