Katey and Sara head to San Diego, CA to present work at the 2016 Experimental Biology meeting.
Katey is presenting a poster entitled "Design Elements of a High Enrollment CourseBased Undergraduate Research Experience May Lead to Inaccurate Student Conceptions about Scientific Research" that explores how structural aspects of a course-based undergraduate research experience (CURE) can impact student conceptions.
Sara is presenting a poster entitled "Navigating from Vision to Change: Tools to Help Biology Departments Align Curriculum with the Core Concepts of Biology" that describes the BioCore Guide and the BioMaps programmatic assessments that are currently in development.
